Full FRP Internal ACCESS SYSTEMS for an Excavated Tank Reservoir
A resolute solution was required by the Water Corporation for a staircase system that would periodically submerged in this water recycling facility – this meant that a complete non-metallic result was a must have.
Treadwell provided the design, engineer and fabricate of a turnkey system that would be well suited for this application.
FRP is not only corrosion resistant but lightweight for easy installation. Maintenance is also low for the products made from the material. Consequently, ArchitEX™ FRP stringers with brackets were produced to specifications and the landings and stair treads were formed with GratEX® FRP grating. RailEX® FRP handrails was used for the handrail systems.
